I started painting my Sophomore year of high school. Ever since then I have challenged myself by making my next canvas larger, the subject more difficult, or trying a new genre.

Aviation abstract

4’ x 5’ Acrylic on Canvas inspired by my professional first job and the color wheel coming together to show my filter on the world.

Lake como, ITALY

This series was inspired by a trip I took in 2015 with my family to Lake Como, Italy.  In these acrylic paintings I captured the stark beauty and vibrant colors reflected in the intimate villages we visited.

Colorado

This 3.5 ft by 5 ft acrylic painting pushed the limits.  The setting is Aspen, Colorado right off of the Rio Grande biking trail.  The greatest challenge was making the water nearest to the viewer clear so that you can see the rocks on the bottom yet it still looks like flowing water.

Little WIlliam

My cousin painted with acrylic on a 12 in. by 18 in. canvas.

Trees of Age

The Trees of Age are indicative of the passage of time what brings us joy as a child will give us joy as an adult just in a different way.  Each canvas is an 11 in. by 17 in.

North River

This commissioned acrylic is of North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa Alabama.  The canvases together are 4 ft by 6 ft.

Logan

The 9 in. by 12 in. gauche painting was a project for my color theory class at SCAD.

Self portrait III

The 10 in. square acrylic painting was a study on Chuck Close.
